History
Phone booths, a part of our history
Born from the desire to diversify, Industrie Fabco inc. was founded in 1985 by Hector Caya. Still active within the business, he was the creator of many products, including outdoor phone booths framed in aluminum profile that Industries Jaro inc. still makes today. In recognition of his exceptional entrepreneurship, Mr. Caya received the “Bâtisseur” award from the Chamber of Commerce of Drummondville in 1998.
A business with well-prepared successors
In 2004, Roger and Louise Caya, having already been a part of the company for many years, bought the business from their father with the intention to continue its development. With a team of 30 people, many of whom had worked there since the beginning, the young owners relied on their highly experienced, passionate and dynamic team.
A diverse business
Over the years, the Fabco management team has been able to expand its range of products, from phone booths to bus shelters, as well as parking booths and other aluminum equipment for the transport industry. Our list of products stands testimony to our ability to innovate in new products and in new markets.
In 2008, in order to maintain its growth, the business moved its premises from Sigouin Street to the new industrial park in Drummondville, on Bergeron Street. The new, 27,000 square foot building is more functional and better adapted to our diverse product manufacturing.
